So I'm trying to figure this out. Whenever I brake I hear a loud clicking noise coming from the front end. I can't tell what side, I only hear it next to a wall or another car w/ the windows down. It kinda sounds like when you put a card in your bike's spokes back in the day (which was a Wednesday). The pads are pretty new, like 3 months. The rotors are cross drilled/slotted. Could the rotors be warped? The brakes feel the same, no shaking or pulling. Oh and I'm losing brake fluid, but can't seem to find a leak... Thanks in advance for any help!

Is your suspension stock?

I get a ticking noise when I brake hardish because my front end goes under compression and the tires click on something in my inner fender...This due to being lowered

P.S.

Dane Cook is played :)

So, I changed my rotors... same noise. It seems like it's coming from the passenger side front. Anyone got any ideas?!!?

mine seemed to do the same. it was a miled ticking.. but it never hurt anything. hmm.. could be that your pads dont have shims since it is a floating caliper..or do they?

Have you checked the bearings? My Xterra made the same exact sound when i had a bad front bearing. Jack up the front end and put one hand on top of the passenger side tire, and the other at the bottom of the tire and shake back and forth (in/out) whatever you want to call it. If there is excessive play then you need new bearings. I say plural cause if one's bad you might was well do the other, cause it's on it's way out too - unless it's been replaced already.

Not sure on the brake fluid leak...
