Paint/Body Ideas.

So my dad backed into my poor 240. He hit it kinda hard at like 10 mph and dented in like the whole door. My dad was cool about and is gonna pay for the new door+ a new paintjob for the car, and is even buying me a body kit with fenders and overfenders. I was planning on selling the car but since this happened and hes willing to give me all this money to do this stuff im just gonna keep it. My first question is what are some cool paint colors, and i really am into silvers, gunmetal and blacks and dark colors. The car is currently red :rolleyes:, but since im keeping it i will probly swap the motor later and color match the engine bay and do the interior myself with rattle can. Another question is the whole Nutsert overfender deal, ive searched this and came up with a few answers but is it easy and would it be worth it. I do not have coilovers or rims, everything is stock, but since this will not be going on for a couple months due to the coldness and us not having a heated shop i will have the money then. So pretty much just looking for paint ideas, nutsert information, and anything else that is suggested since i will be tearing the car down almost completely in the spring. Sorry for such a long story but please help me as best as you can or are willing too. Oh and if you have pictures of paint thatd be awesome. also a good deal on some viennas or euroline or anything of that sort cause thats my current wheel idea.

Tell your dad he fucked up your suspension and rims and your door. Make him buy you coilovers and nice rims then overfenders and a kit. Then paint it Gun Gray Metallic from the R32 Skyline.

Maybe. lol. Nah, just make it look clean. Instead of the aero, have him just get you the door and paint, then just get a nice little lip kit. Some decent sides, rear valance, and a little front splitter or something.

Then while your at it, get a decent coilover set up, some decent rims, and rock out a clean s13... or s14. IdK what you have.

Agree, Just get a Xenon lip and have him get ya a door and some new paint and be done till you get coils and wheels.

instead of getting the bodykit, get some decent wheels you like and some suspension(coils!) fix it up, you'll be more happy in the long run, than having busted up kit... get a nice lip... about overfenders... front ones (wide fenders) dont look bad with stock body sometimes, rear i would say no... what kind of colors are you into? stock colors, bright colors, charcoal/grey colors?

but yeah if your dad is gonna spend that money talk to him and explain to him why you should spend that money elsewhere, i mean if that is what you want to do of course... if you want a kit go for it... but then a kit with stock wheels? or a kit with stock height? at least imo i prefer a stock bodied car with nice wheels/fitment a nice height over a bodykited car with stock everything... and again front widefenders can be pulled off with stock body sometimes... and i said SOMETIMES

its kinda how flicktitty said it. he wont spend the money on the wheels and coils cause their fine. but i already pretty much have those covered so thats notta big deal, besides whether i wanna go vip with eurolines or something of that sort or something baller. but if hes gonna buy the aero then i say why the fuck not and just get it. i dont have to use it i dont guess...

ahhhh i didn't notice you said you HAD the money for coils/wheels... well then if you go vip go with some baller bodykit if u can spend big get supermade... with some eurolines i think you can have a nice look!.... or go with a simple kit not way to aggresive, and if you go with a kit with eurolines get a decent sized wheels... wide as hell with some widefenders would look nice... but if u wanna go with vip/baller look get everything clean bodied nothing to aggresive looking so everything will look par with everything else... id go with some silver and or moss looking colors if thats the look your going for...

But if your looking for a clean kit, try the D-Max type one. BTW, what kind of 240 do you have? S13? S14?
