Sr putting and popping... loss of power? just started.. ideas?

Hey guys, was on my way home with my girlfriend and my s14 (sr) started running rough and backfiring (poppin). :wtf:Weird. I looked at my boost gauge and the light on it was like dimming everytime i felt it miss. Do you think that happening makes it something to do with electrical on it?This just happened and I'm about to go outside and check it out but I just thought I'd throw this out there to see if you guys will have any ideas. Many minds are better than one. Alright guys... shoot me any ideas. Thanks.

Bad grounds - on engine or coil pack or both, loose ground connection from batttery

last night when I went outside to tinker with it started by taking the plugs out. The front plug had a bunch of oil ontop of it. weird... looked around inside and it looks like the valve cover gasket isn't sealed correctly above the plug. I guess it was stopping that plug from getting the correct power. Thanks for your help.
