Ok, so I got a redtop SR20DET out of an 94 180sx w/auto trans , no harness and no ecu... no biggy. Im gonna order a harness form the internet or get one before I leave and I plan on running PFC. I also got a manual trans out of a 96 180sx type s, non-turbo. I plan on putting both into a 240 hatch when I get back.
Well I an wondering what, if any, are the differnces between an auto SR20DET and a manual SR20DET ([email protected])? As side from thngs that have to do with the trans, what wiring is different? Are any of the sensors different? What do I have to change to make it work with a manual SR wiring harness?
Another question is, will the stock 240 drive shaft work? If not then what drive shafts do I need? Do I have to get one from a 180 out here?
I dont plan on doing the swap for another year or so but I an leaving here in a month. So anything that I need for this swap from here I would like to know about. Thanks for the help guys
