ok this is a question from a friend hes going to asb this weekened and wants to drop in a nismo 2 way in his car. we are all super buys and dont have time to order nismo kaaz ect oil. is their anything you could just pickup from your local auto parts place ect??

motul makes a good gear oil thats comparable

You can buy whatever the store is selling. Why are you asking? :)

I assume you mean to ask if there is something you can buy locally for your diff.

I recommend only using the oil prescribed by the manufacturer. That's just my opinion.

Others have found success using conventional gear oil and Ford friction modifier. Search for more info.

As long as it's 80/90 conventional (non-synthetic) you should be fine.

I personally don't have much success with anything other than Tomei or Kaaz oil in my 2-way.

I tried conventional Valvoline 80W90 with no friction modifier and I do not like the way the diff behaves. It's too noisy and locks up too abruptly compared with Kaaz/Tomei oil.

I'll try the Ford stuff and if that doesn't work I'll just go back to Tomei oil.

I have a Tomei 2-way and I use Motul 90PA. Works great.
