Bbandit and I put in the VLSD from pdm in. It took awhile with a blood clot thanks to the drive shaft falling on my head. But still it was well worth every penny. Me and Bbandit took it for a drive and felt the difference instantly as we took a turn and peeled out at stop lights. I still can't believe that we stayed outside in the cold and also it got dark to get the VLSD done. Well if any of yall are looking to buy VLSD, just go to the pdm-racing.com website and check it out. I think I will drive it again later tonight.
A man and ja,

brrrrrrrrr, you say?
It was 31 in Chicago today and it felt WARM!
It hasn't been this hot in a while! I'm serious, and it's sad.
And an LSD isn't heavy- about 75lbs, you just need to work out more :p
So anyway, how "cold" was it when you were working outside?
Like 50-60 degrees?
gimme a break man.. im only 5'7" and i weighs 150lb :p
Yup, I have to take our a LSD tonight meanwhile is prolly 10 degrees in our garage. Sounds like my idea of a good birthday
Any tips for taking the driveshaft off? Mine wont budge even with a impact gun.

for some reason, fastpace's driveshaft just came out down on his head while we pull the LSD down (we took of all of the driveshaft and cv joint bolts)
now fastpace looks like he has been hit on the eye by mike tyson LOL!!!
i think you can just slide the driveshaft down out of the way since we slide it back to the LSD when we install it..
heh, maybe put blocks under the driveshaft next time ;)
BTW, Bbandit, that sig rocks!

yep i just realized the title and it doesn't give a good message(dirty mind). Yep I just got home from college station to houston and there were no problems with the differential. Man I can't believe how much of an improvement it is. Going around corners is more exciting then before. Man I am still in pain from the driveshaft, but it was well worth it. Word of advice, whenever you take off the differental put a jack with a piece of wood on it to take off the cv joints, that was like the hardest part.

I tested the car out a couple of times yesterday and a couple of times when I got back to houston. I believe when I was close to the house I was at a stop light about to make a right turn(there were no cars in front of me) and I revved the engine to 4500 and i turned the wheel. The car didn't fishtail out like it used to and just kept on going into the direction I directed it to. I believe I can launch it higher than before I max out and start sliding. It feels that the car is new machine.
