I have recently notice that there is oil around my head gasket on the front of my block... The gasket looks to be saturated. Its very little oil and the only real reason i notice was because i recenlty detailed my engine bay.-Good idea. But if im driving conservatily is this really an issue???I really just want to get through the winter, then ill get a HG and some studs..In the mean time Ill just keep a very close eye on my oil and coolant.

Honestly.. that's not even an issue... Especially if its leaking in the front. Its leaking where the timing chain area is, and there is no combustion, coolant, or oil pressure, therefore you have nothing to worry about.
5 bucks says it will work just fine for a long long time.

Not a head gasket issue. if you are really irritated by the leak take off the timing cover and reseal it with silicone or a gasket to stop the leak.

HG leak = overheating, loss of coolant, bubbles in coolant, milky oil, oil in coolant.
Typical front cover/HG leak = from the nissan factory
