damn window dropped....

so i was putting the window up and then it dropped, right into the door. now when i press the button to make it go up or down the thing makes noise like there is movement. but the window does not move.
I pulled off the door, and peeled back the dynamat, and found a stray wire, and then a wire loop.
anyone had this happen to them? what do i do to fix it?

u need a new regulator

No questions, same thing happened in my last car (Galant). Not uncommon, but won't happen to everybody. You need a new regulator.. Find one at a junk yard, nobody seems to take the doors at mine, it's always the motors and brakes.
