to my suprise, and everyone elses, i have a fingernail! it looks like its going to be full size again. but anyhow, just thought i'd update. that shit grew back damn quick. im actually really suprised. nobody notices it unless i point it out. even though i dont really use it. it just kind of sticks out when i grab on to things. im trying to use it more often, but im in the habit of not using it. time time time.

yes. i still cant use it for that though. still kinda sensative. not to mention i have ZERO feeling on the tip. its where the old skin meets the new skin its insanely sensative. i have about 4 pairs of leather gloves now. i wear them just thinking about going outside. even that part on my palm that they took the skin from. its super sensative. especially to the 25 degree weather. lol. but i cant expect anything more. after 2 months, i am more than happy with the current condition.

I would talk to your doc about your extreme sensitivity over the finger and palm. You could have the beginnings of CPRS (or RSD, as they used to call it.) Go ahead and google it or put it into webMD. Shit sux and can really be crippling. It would suck if you had successfully grown back a finger only not to be able to use it effectively due to pain!

My dad lost the pointer finger on his left hand all the way down to his 2nd knuckle probably 25 years ago, it is still really sensative to the cold.


Its just amazing you were able to recover to this point so fast!
