Hey,
So when I'm at slow speeds and up to about 35 the passenger wheel well sounds like coins in a dryer. Like a crinkling. Any ideas on what this could be? The boot on the 'control arm' 'cv boot' (?) is torn. The sound goes away at higher speeds.
I need to replace the brake pads I know that, but that can't be it.
Thing is, I'm driving to San Jose from L.A. and don't know if it would be cool or not. At such high speeds for like 5 hours.
I think something is up with my (open)diff to , when I reverse there's slight clunking noise.
Searched but too many variables.
Thanks guys!

you are just gonna get a bunch of different suggestions lol...Like you said... too many variables... best way is to just lift her up and have a look and check all the variables..

Good luck with it though!

control arm cv boot?

Iunno make sure your brake dust shield isn't bent and touching the rotor. happened to me and it made an odd noise for a while, i just bent it back by hand.
