I think it might be the same as how you do it on the KA and just cut a speed wire to the ECM...

either that or get a standalone... :)

The same way you do it on any 240SX, as discussed since the dawn of the internet and even before that. A search would yield an answer if you bothered to try.

You can cut or disconnect 5th gear, but this has been discussed a long long long time ago...

You could get this: Greddy Speed Limiter Cut (SLC) (http://phase2motorsports.stores.yahoo.net/grsplicuts.html)

So you'll be doing this on a track, right?

125mph on public roads is so far beyond stupid, I can't even quantify it.

As for the OP...Zilvia is a sweet place as long as you don't ask stupid questions. There's almost 60,000 members, and it's been around for a while.....not to mention google, and nico, and so many other 240 sites...

did you really think this warranted a new thread?

Speed cut is 180 kph or about 115 mph - stupid easy to hit that on a track with even stock power. Hell, I've done autocrosses where I was getting up towards that(top of 3rd).

Best way is just to get a ROM tune and get rid of the crappy stock tune.

I got a greddy SLC..I haven't installed it yet, but I'm worried b/c the top speed the directions show to limit to is 200 km/h which is ~127 MPH

I guess that's better than the 115 MPH it's currently limited to...
