so im not going to explain the story but basically right now my car only works in 5th and reverse i cant put it in 1-4th gear, i try to push it it there but it doesnt go there is resistance. What could the problem or problems be

what do you mean "not going to explain the story"??
did some catastrophic event lead to this problem? If so, it would probably be beneficial if you told us about it........

no nothing just driving hard i guess i did, happen to go go to some abandom road and drift a turn but i shift to 4th an to 5th when i got this stop sign it was in neutral and i went to put it in 1st gear and it physically woudnt get in any gear but 5th and reverse. i burnt the shit out of my clutch cuz i drove it in 5th to get home. im just trying to get some ideas of what it could be

honestly, it depends on the parts and labor. i am not sure what the parts cost for the 240s. it could be cheaper to buy another tranny and swap.
rebuilding the syncros are not the easiest, unless you have the tools/knowledge to do so.

if he did [blank] and the resulting problem was [blank] then we'd have an easier time diagnosing the problem. Problem solving 101....no need to be a dick
if its syncros is it just best to get a rebuild kit
you'd probably want have a shop/pro rebuild it unless you feel comfortable cracking open your transmission yourself
I would personally just find a junkyard tranny/buy a used one somewhere

I understand needing to know certain information when trying to diagnose a problem. But given the information, in this case, one could come up with a reasonable explanation. In the Advanced Problem Solving, you are only given the problem and have to come up with the reason. My intentions are not trying to be a dick.
