I recently ordered 5 gauges, and got them yesterday. First one I take out of the box has some little piece of plastic or something behind the lense. It isn't something that is going to effect the performace of the gauge, but it will drive me absolutly crazy. It already is and the gauges aren't even in my car yet.
Here is a picture

Is there someway to take this apart to get that out?
This is what the back of the gauge looks like. Taking out the screws doesn't seem to do much.

I got the X-line. Other than the obvious lack of quality control, everything else looks good.
I don't have them hooked up yet, and I won't until sometime over winter, so I am not going to say anything else. They have not seen power, so who knows.
Until then, I can't comment on the accuracy, or overall impression of the quality. I guess we will see.
If I can't get this apart, I am just going to send it back and get a new one.

Yeah I will, I was just hoping that it would be easy to do it myself, and that way I could avoid the hassel of shipping it back and waiting for a new one to come.
Might be the only way to go though..
