Ok so i had jus got this car and tracing down problems. So few question

1.The PCV valve is located in the line from brake booster to engine. From what i can see and read it dosent seem right but i cant the actual placement. I get a good amount of blow by in the intake when i have the left side the T (on valve cover ran into my intak before turbo. If i dont have that in the car runs worst but no blow by.

2. i dont have a boost pressure selonoid at all.Should i?

3. No catch can either. ?????

Jus installed a rec bov but have to add nipple to my hot pipe to run vac to waste gate. That should be today. So for now i cant start the car.

4. Car runs and will idel at 1100 rpm. Not great but i havent adjusted the idel. What the problem is that (all in N not driving) if i jus say soflty push gas to hold at 2000rpm it will miss and stutter. But i rev fast it has no problems what so ever. New plugs installed, new cas, checked all the coil packs.

only code ecu pulls is 55
I need a very clear vac /boost diagram along with the pcv one.

Thanks

changed the temp sensor and ran the wastgate to the hot pipe installed bov and runs alot better.
Still bogs a Lil and what's to stall after a rev. Prolly do to bov not recuriclating. Gonna do that soon.

Will let u know what happens from here.

What gap for plugs? Bkr7e ngk

why can you not get a PVC valve replacement? (Back left coner of valve cover?) Just get one off a sentra SER with the SR20DE.

you need a boost controler, if you dont have one runa vac line from the throttle body to the W/G actuator on the turbo. this will limit you to 4 psi or so, if you dont run a line you will over boost and blow the turbo.

3. No catch can either. ?????

you should have a stock oil catch can, its a black box on the exhaust side next to the exhaust mainifold,
a catch can between the Valve cover and intake pipe is a good addtion to keep your intake system from getting gunked up.

make sure no vacuum leaks, and timing is good. if none are present, then the IACV is located between the #3&4 intake runner on the intake manifold, there is a white adj. screw

only code ecu pulls is 55

55= no faults

I need a very clear vac /boost diagram along with the pcv one.

---Okay, the PCV valve on these cars is a part of the valve cover. If you look on the engine, the black nipple on the top left corner of the valve cover. That line should be routed into one of the nipple into the intake manifold. Your brake booster should also be hooked up to one of the nipples on the manifold.

As far as the other side. Dont hook up the line from the T directly to the intake manifold without a catch can. Oil likes to come out of that T and get sucked into the intake tract. Either run a catch can in between or just run the T into a catch can and let the other side just vent to the atmophere. Just make sure you check the rubber neck of the intake and plug all the holes. If you dont block them, itll cause your car to run shitty since you have metered air leaking out.

---Dont need it.

---Can you rev pass 2k? Check the usual stuff. CAS timing (Look at FRsports.com for a pictured guide on how to), spark plug gapped down to .030. Check for boost leak (pressurize the entire system, if there's a leak somewhere, you should hear it).

I knew here the pcv was located as on the cover. Jus wasnot sure why he put a plastic on inbetween the line. Same type pcv as on my mustang. I checked the valve cover on and it's fine.

Working on the catch can now.

It will rev past 2k no problem. Almost all symptoms are clear. Has a small miss to it jus not like before. My friend says it do to not rec the bov. Will have that done this weekend also.

Gonna change plugs from 035 to 030: see if that will help some and get another timming light on it.
