Quick question about water temp gauge

Got a stri water temp gauge and it came with the adapter that goes on the inlet side of the radiator hose. My question is, will it be accurate there? Since that place is before it enter the engine will it read the right temperature that the gauge should display for crucial moment?

Some ppl will put it in the stock Water Temp Gauge sensor spot,

You'll want it after the thermostat so you get the engine temp not the radiator temp. so upper rad hose is fine

I put mine directly into the water jacket of the block. there are plugs you can unscrew and screw in your after market temp sensor.

Well i just went ahead and use the adapter that came with the gauge. I haven't hook it to the gauge though so iono.
