I have an older aftermarket wheel, and i cant find a good way to attach the horn wire to the trim ring. I have soldered it twice and taped once hehe.. It either comes off with the taped-go figure. But with the solder the horn will go off when im turning at random times. The second soder i made very low pro and it still did it. Any clever ideas?

Instead of using solder use an eyebolt shaped brass piece, or anything like that

Then use a wire crimp to connect to that

And put the eyebolt piece between the wheel and hub with a bolt going through it?

I'm not sure if you're referring to the positive or negative wire on the horn, or even if it has just a positive wire and self grounds, etc

The trigger in the wheel is a ground. The horn sees power when that ground triggers the relay.
