Well basically its a track car without the stock cluster i have the fuel level sender still in the gas tank and i want to put a gas gauge on the car. All the gauges i look at read in ohms like autometers and such how many ohms does a full tank put out? my tester says it reads 2.4 out of the yellow and green wire form the fuel level unit with the other two wires being power and ground. Correct me if i am wrong there. i believe there is like 1/4 a tank of gas right now.

Who else has a aftermarket gas gauge here? what kind is it?

Thanks to anyone who can help me out.

full = 4.3-5.8 ohms
1/2 full = 27.7-34.3 ohms
empty = 78.3-84.8

now summit racing with the gauge:
Fuel level, Gauges, Individual, Gauges & Accessories - summitracing.com (http://store.summitracing.com/egnsearch.asp?N=700+4294925228+4294925227+42949055 94+115)

any of the 0-90 ohms will be close enough for your wants.
