I just got a set of the 17 inch 350z wheels and I put them on today and when you look at the back of my car the driver side rear wheel sits flush with the rear fender, but on the passenger side it sticks out alot like almost half an inch. The car was converted to 5 lug before I bought it and I was curious if all the 5 lug hubs that bolt onto the s13s are the same width because this car was never in an accident so I figure it has to do with the suspension or something. Anyone have any ideas?
Oh and the car from the factory is a Hicas I dunno if that matters.

easy to see if its the camber. stand parallel with the tire, and see if its angled out. 1 inch between the two should give you a quite noticeable angle.

probably have the wheels for the front in the back and vice versa
front and rear wheels have different offset and different tire size

think of the vag you saw when you were younger. it was nice and tight.
notice now that you're a bit older, vagina's tend to be beat up and a little messy and loose. some even smell/taste bad.
that is what happened to your subframe.
your subframe is out of whack probably, or even perhaps your chassis is twisted.
but yeah, subframe is funky cuz your bushings are chewed up, like a used up old vag.
but redline racer does make a good point.

look on the inside of the wheel you should see 7.5 front and 8.0 in the rear and install accordingly. If that doesnt solve your prblem you might have one of your rear arms or suspension components bent. Might be a simple fix or maybe not.

I'll try to take better ones today.
Look at the wheel widths like everybody on here is telling you to do.

I concur, z wheels are staggered. Check to make sure you have them in the right place.

Take all four wheels off and check the inside of the wheels for the words FRONT 7.5 or REAR 8.0.

I guess i could do that but the wheels have the original tires on them. The guy got new rims and tires at like 20,000 miles.

my car does this. if you have the staggered wheels setup right, then its your car LOL
my wheels stick out farther on my driver side a good inch past my q/p, and im tucking my tire in on the left, and thats with less camber on the passenger side. weird.
