okay iv bewn researching these turbos for like 2 months now and im starting to get pissed off. right now i have power fc d jetro with 740s bc 264s and a cometic headgasket stock bottom. with a t25 ha :duh: i really just am getting sick of having the restrictions of a t25 and want power but i dont need ten thousand hp i just want deace spool time and tourque. i have found a couple people running the 2871r making pretty good power but has anyone ran the t2 3071 or no anybody that has. i have read all the threads on the turbo and 2871s but its not really answering my question. i no they make power but what about spool time and low end power. im not drag racing i dont care about how fast i can run a 1/4 mile. so if you can please help me.

search for gt3076r

You need to set a hp goal. Seems odd that you would have 740's and 264's with a t25. I would say go with a 2871r, great spool and lots of power. All depends on your tuner aswell. Cheapest Ive found that turbo was at himniracing.com

Here is a 3076r that Im getting.

And get some damn grammar lessons or use spell check!

If you get a 3071 internal gated, mill out the flapper hole. If you dont, expect some boost spikes. 2871 is better if you want better response. In my opinion, big trim 2871 is similar to the smaller trim 3071. If you want the most HP, big trim 3071.
