i have a pair of New Large Advent Loudspeakers. my dad bought them new in 1974. the woofer surrounds deteriorated and he replaced them with some other woofers, which were for some reason removed about ten years ago and misplaced. so now i've got these beautiful, iconic walnut speakers, and the tweeters work fine, but i need some good, affordable replacement woofers. where do i go? does radio shack still sell replacement home speakers?
halp!
they look like these.

Usually on the home theater forums they recommend Dayton subs for entry level. They're supposed to be a good bang for buck subs.

rad, time to get my Optimus on :D
I'm sorry you found my post unclear. I was recommending the Dayton subs if you're looking for an all in one subwoofer enclosure, not just the speaker.

Yep. Build an entire new one from the ground up. lol
Guess someone already linked it. Try looking up some DIY speaker forums too.
