the best head ever!!!!!

i have a s13 sr20det with a brian crower 2.35L stroker. i have in the head just hks step 1 cams. in april i have emissions here in md. my car failed last time and i had to do $400 worth of emissions stuff to get a 2 year wavier. my emissoins is coming up again in april and i have to do the same thing again. but this time i want to do the whole head. sence it is 6 months from now. so money is not an issue for the cost of the head.

my question is....if you had unlimited amount of money, what would you do to make the baddest head. from top to bottom. i just made 347whp on a 2876r on ma-motorsports dyno. so i need to build the head anyway to go forward.
how much would your final cost be?

If I had unlimited amount of money, I would send my head off to Mazworx and have them cnc port it and have them build the whole head with what they recommend.

Anyhow, port and polish the head, rocker arms, springs, over sized valves, a 5 way valve job, rocker arm retainers, and just for the hell of it, anodize the entire head purple.

yeah ok what degree cams, what kind of angle on the valve job, are ports necessary or just a good polish, removing quench area, yada ya.

Headwork doesn't always necessarily mean I got a credit card with a 6000 dollar limit and I still live at mom and dads, what should I buy guys. Please add some intelligence to your answers.

And I would probably go HKS over Tomei if I were building a super aggressive head, but if this car is street driven and not raced in a straight line I don't see the point. How do you plan on passing fucking emissions adding on to how much your car polutes?

I'm not sure what your goals are so I wouldn't know what to tell you. It all depends on what you want to do, do you want nothing but top end power, do you want it strong enough to rev the piss out of it, because you will have to do work to the intake manifold as well. (port matching and machining) larger throttle body, yada ya.

nothing... you're only making 347 on a gt2876 with a stroker.. you need more boost or a tune or something. That's low unless you're running stock cams. Throw some cams in it and a nice head gasket if there already isn't. Not like your gonna rev to 9k on the stroker setup.

the car is for drag racing. the head is maxed out, not the turbo. i have the bottom end finished. i just need to do the head.
i have to go thru emissions first because i know im going to fail. then you have to spen $400+ on emissions worth stuff to go and fail again and then you get a 2 year waiver. my hp goal is 700. i am going with a borg warner 366 xxl in mid summer.

it made 347 on ma's dyno. that is 400 on a dyno jet. so im trying to build the head before the new turbo set up.

and because it is in 6 months that i have to do this is why i have basicly unlimited money. and 4 of those months i will be working 70hrs a week. i like to do things right the first time around so that i dont have to do it again.
