Shifter assembly (missing part?!)

I think I'm missing a part of my shifter assembly. When I put the shifter assembly together and put it in the tranny, the shifter is just a merry-go-round. I think there's a part in the shifter plate I'm supposed to have. Here are some pics of everything I have. What is missing?

I don't see a C-clip in any of those pictures. You might be missing that. It's a C shaped clip that is placed on the around the shifter on the shifter plate. Keeps the shifter from moving around and what not.

Buy it at the dealership.

Your missing the shifter bushing that goes on the ball of the shifter, the center guide to keep it aligned, & the c clip to hold it all down.

you can get a metal lil bushing from aspec. . its metal for a more solid shift:D

You're missing the outer plastic guide with the dowel pins that keeps the shifter from spinning.

i have the plastic piece that goes on the shifter, it's in the tranny, but you can't really see it. So I'm missing the c-clip and the outer guide. Does anyone know where I can find the guide and pins?

You really ought to find another used and complete shifter assembly.

or you could get a b&m knockoff short throw, preassembled with its own trans cover plate. my s14 came with one and I think I like it better than the legit b&m in my s13.
