Hi! guys..
Finally, I saved 200 bucks for install the AGX struts, and Sportline. I'm thinking about whether go to autoshop or Do It Myself. Do you guys think it's hard to install?? I have all tools that I need but I need your opinion.

P.S. I'm gonna follow installations that are indicated in this site.

Check this out (http://www.nissanperformancemag.com/february02/240suspension.shtml)

do it yourself
there's nothing like the pride you'll feel after you finish.

then again, there's nothing like ending up w/ a spring stuck in your head when you goof haha

sorry, couldnt resist

seriously, do it yourself. itsnot difficult. just make sure you have the PROPER, CORRECT Tools, and take no shortcuts

I just installed the same setup over the weekend. It is fairly easy and not a lot of stuff to remove. Just watch the front springs went removing them they like to get a little wild.

If you have ALL the tools you need, then do it. Should take you about 1.5-2 hours. Only tools that most don't have is the spring compressor, and you will want a breaker bar for the strut bolts.

You can rent spring compressors from autozone for free.

heh heh... good luck doing it in 3 hours! :D Yes, I agree with West if you've done it once before or have extensive car-working-on-experience, but if this is one of the first projects you undertake (which suspension should be), then set aside a good 4 or 5... even 6 hours to do it. :)

DIY! =P when i did it for the first time it took me about 4.5 hours. but thats me bymyself. you need at least another person with you to help you out. the second time i did it, it only took about 2.5 hours. ;)

rent one at autozone or somewhere similar...
you need to put ~$50 deposit for a set of those compressor
and they'll return your deposit when you give them the compressor back

How much would you expect to pay for a spring compressor? Carquest has them for ~$30, worthwhile?

I'll be replacing some OEM struts on my sister's Sentra soonish.

Anyhow, the suspension installation is easy so long as you use a compressor. First major thing I did on my car. Very rewarding :-)

When I put my AGX's on I went ahead a bought the spring compressor. It was like $25 from advanced auto parts. For $25 you own it and never have to worry about renting one or even breaking the rental.
