pass smog w/ cel problems, hahaha :D

so last week, i pulled the ecu n diagnosed my cel n it gave me a code 32 (egr malfunction). i got lazy n was like i dont wanna deal w/ this so i just reset it n made the light go away. i've driven it rarely this week but the cel hasnt come bak on. so this morning, i was like lets try n c if it'll pass smog so i take it 2 the shop. when the guy did the 1st test, the timing was off n it fail just cuz of that but he was cool about it n fixed it at the spot for $20. then he retested it n said he needed it warmed up so he asks me 2 drive it for 5 miles on the highway n bring it bak w/ the motor running. when i do, the cel comes bak on n i was like oh crap!!! so i shoot bak home n pulled the ecu again. it gave me codes 32 and 35 (exhaust gas temperature sensor) this time. i was like i screw it so i reset it again, slapped it bak in, n flew bak 2 the shop. when i got bak, he retested the car, AGAIN, for the 3rd time, n asks me 2 park it. he come bak and tells me it passed. so i passed smog w/ cel problems. mwahahahaha!!!!

umm thats too much work man.... I bet your EGR isn't bad, EGR or BVT emission vaccum line must of rotted you should of tried replacing the hose or remove CEL bulb from Gauge Cluster also Sea Foaming and New Plugs help you pass smog too
