What if you find a Tomei or Kazz being sold on Ebay? I'm not supporting them, just saying there's plenty of name brand stuff sold online. It doesn't have to be shit.

Thats true but can you trust the person selling is really giving you whats advertised? Might be a Kaaz but maybe it worn out or maybe its an LSD for a different car?

I Like quality so if im gonna spend money on something mechanical or electrical I'm gonna buy it new from a reputable company, unless it a rare part, or if i can inspect it and test its in good working order.

I dont trust anyone on Ebay and I've never bought anything from Ebay but thats just me, i got trust issues when it comes to spending money.

From what I have researched...

And...I have bought from this eBay seller before (a few years ago). He sourced me a brand new Trust lightened flywheel for my AE86. His descriptions may suck but he's legit.

This also comes with BRAND NEW output shafts from Nissan. I'd say $598 is not tht bad of a deal...I'm just not sure how this type of LSD performs. It is said that it is a good type for road racing...maybe time attack type driving.

I've heard nothing bad about those lsds. it's still a clutch type i think, just with a different way of applying the clutch.

For anyone that cares I have the balltec 1.5 and I've had 0 issues. I like it alot. It's not nearly as loud and clunky as my friends' cusco and nismo but it locks up perfectly. I got it used from a friend and he has had it almost 2 years. I would recommend it.

Here is the thing, I buy brand name stuff off ebay all the time, but thats not the problem. There is brand name (Tomei, Nismo, kaaz cusco), and there is ebay brand name. For all you know balltec i just a fancy name a seller on ebay created to make their cheep shitty china-made product seem more legit. They do it all the time.

thmotorsports has a deal on kaaz differentials man, but also. 2 way differentials, i hear, arent good for daily driving. or welded. they eat up tires, make it a pain to turn, and make your ride really shitty. thats wat i HEARD
