Today while junkyard shopping for a door for the new Civc in the corral I ran by a base model 240 sitting all by it's lonesome w/ the most perfect hatch. After further inspection I realized that it is the exact same color as mine sans spoiler. I just had to have it!
Anyway $125 later I had a pristine hatch w/ no rusty foam spoiler and no need to get it painted ::SCORE ::
Just thought I would share my good fortunes and it will be going on tomorrow first thing;)

Haha, same thing happened over the summer, lookin for a new hatch and i found a base model 240 exactly like mine, even had SE rims on it, which i grabbed one, and had a perfect hatch with no spoiler, $100.

I got everything installed in about 1 1/2hrs and it looks great. Only 1/2 of the 3rd brake light works but a good trade off for a working defrost:D
No more swiming pools in the trunk w00t w00t:p

Looking at the back of the car on the left side you will see a black protector covering wires. Remove the paneling on the top side where the wires run. There will be a ground that came loose on mine that's why it didn't work
