speed sensor

I know that you need to swap over the speed sensor from a ka to the sr tranny but i've never heard you need to splice the male end on he ka harness or anything to it. So here is the picture from the sr harness connector that suppose to hook up the the ka speed sensor. Just to make sure before i do it, do i need to splice the ka male connector for this speed sensor since the sr speed sensor connector won't plug up?

Wrong. You do NOT swap the sensor over, it's the same unless you're using different chassis, IE an S13 sensor with an S14 cluster. That plug you're showing is an S14 plug. If it's going into an S14, plug it in. If it's going into an S13 that harness has to be cut and you need an S13 speed sensor.

And don't even suggest it, JDM and US sensors are the exact same.
