i have a question. This has been on my mind for the past week and what i would like to know is how come people pay $2500 to swap out the KA and put in the SR? I always wondered cant you have a really well built KA for that amount of money?

Im not an SR hater or anything but why dump all that money into a swap when you can have a powerful KA

is that what it all comes down to? which ever one you prefer? or is one better than the other?

SR is lighter and starts off as a turbocharged motor.

You'd be lucky if the swap only cost you $2500....

With a KA you'll never be JDM tyte. But trust me, if you know your KA well and the problems aren't extreme, it's worth it to go KA-T.

if you consider 50 pounds lighter then you've got some issues. the engine weight difference is not that much.

Please stop now. Search. The KA vs. SR debate is nearly 20yrs old. Starting a new thread is completely useless. Read and decide for yourself, everyone is biased, everyone has an opinion.
