240's came with e-fans? are you sure youre not mistaking the ac fan for a rad fan?

that little fan in the front of your condesor (if its still there) or rad. is no where near enough to cool your car.....that fan is a ac/overheat fan that only spins if the ac is on or if your car is hot as hell! if you dont have a REAL e-fan to put in like a flex-a-lite or some other kind put the clutch fan back on

Back in the days, people actually used to ditch the clutch fan and hardwire the condenser fan to run all the time. It freed up some HP but not much and people swore that it didnt affect the engine temp on the KA. I for one can attest to that since I did it on my S14 for a good year and a half before I did my SR swap. And I was in Cali where it got hot enough.

Would I recommend it? Probably not to somebody else...would I do it again? Probably...my car, didnt affect shit...

i ran the condenser fan on the back of my rad on an s14 with s13 sr without the mech clutch fan.. put some water wetter in and never had a problem with jerseys summer.

i strapped the condensor fan to the rad on my first sr too  along with various other newb bits, idk how that engine lasted as long as it did
