DFW DNE Meet 2/22/2003

We have a new meet location, and it looks like this may be our permanant home. The owner/manager of the restaurant is a constable for the Dallas Police, so no problems with cops, and he offered either a 10% discount or a burger/fries/ drink special whenever we hold meets there. He's been really good to us and it looks like this will be our spot from now on. There is approximately 40-50 parking spots at Tigerbull's itself, which continues into an ex-Tom Thumb parking lot, so we will have sufficient space.

The location is right off of 635, at Forest and Abrams right near the Abrams/635 intersection.

You guys that will be there for sure need to post, this way we can give a approximate head count to Mark so he can make accomadations for the DNE crew.

Keep in mind at this meet, we should have our first round of stickers up for sale at the meet, and we will be taking orders for a DNE polo shirt that will be embroidered. In the left chest area, we'll have DNE in black with Dallas Nissan Enthusiasts printed below. Just something to keep in mind...

Well, we have 24 cars on our list and 10-15 more emails of people wanting to come. We had a smaller number of people RSVP for last month and we had 50 cars show up! We are hoping we will beat that number. :D

There gonna be any more meets like this - is this a weekly thing?? I've been tryin to find where all the nissan ppl meet but I haven't been able to track you guys down! Lemme know if there will be any more meets plz!!

There is a meet at Cici's off SW Green Oaks in Arlington on Friday and Sat. nights, which there are a few 240's that show up. Friday is the bigger night.

Acutally it's not a weekend thing, but it is a monthly thing.

I was going to post the news of the meet but there was not much response here on Zilvia.

Register here and post under the car club section for the Dallas Nissan Enthusiasts. We have quite a large number of 240's and we acquire more everyday, including the man who runs Project Silvia who showed up to our meet two months ago with his beautiful Skyline conversion. We also had a Skyline in attendance as well with many other crazy fast cars :D.

We get about 2 ppl a day joining our group and as of late there is a 50% shot of 1 of them being a 240, so come check us out. Send us your info and we'll add you to the mailing list and you will receive meet info.
