yes i recently did a swap from a sohc ka24 to a redtop sr20 and we didnt have any other throttle cables to use so i had to use the one from the sohc motor its short (stretches across my valve cover) it looks ugly i was just curious if i switch to a throttle cable from a ka24de if it will wrap around my valve cover and still be long enough

I used my KA cable (DOHC, cruise cont.) and made an adapter bracket for mine, even through I screwed up the placement of it. I didn't account for the angle of the throttle pulley to the plate and had to improvise.

The cable locks fairly stock.
Just use my bracket as a template and correct my mistakes.

btw, that's 1/8 in. plate steel and I welded my stock bracket to it. I had to bend the bracket down towards the ground a bit too, to keep the cable from binding on the the pulley.

It needs a lot of massaging but it could be a good project for you.

DOHC cable is a bit longer and works better.

Dohc cable works swell. You may need to fab up a longer bracket

Heat treated military grade aluminum baby! Very light and hard to bend (unlike that shiat you can buy from Lowes/Home Depot).

i have a little issue w/ my throttle cable as well seeing if any quick solution i can do... i have s14 w/ s13 sr, my gas pedal is much higher then my brake and clutch pedal, feels awkward driving... if its a simple task or i have to replace something please let me know any feed back would be great, pedal really bugs me
