First off you don't need LSD oil, but i would spend the money on Synthetic, i personally use Mobil 1 75w90 GL5 but any type of 80w90GL5 will work fine.

iirc you'd need 1.5L
the FSM says you'd need about 1.2L to 1.5L but for me i'd just buy 3 bottles just in case, you can always return the bottle afterwards.

hope that helps .

you can use synthetic is you like, but only regular is required. But imo you should spring for the synthetic.

depends on your diff. if you have a aftermarket KAAZ or Tomei, nismo...2way or 1.5 you definetly DONT want to use regular gear oil in there! you can find the required LSD oil on all kinds of sites including the manufacture.those types of LSD's oil usually come in big can container's. if you have a OEM diff. like a open or viscous you can just use the gear oil mentioned above (80w90 full synthetic). do you know what type of diff you have?

I use Royal Purple 75w90 in my J30 VLSD. I prefer it over Mobile 1 since it's not a true synthetic oil.

But personal preference is key.
