auto to 5 speed question

i've had some hard trouble sourcing out a m/t s14 transmission harness, but for smog CA reasons, will the s13 harness work or even most of the automatic harnesses?

You do NOT need a manual lower harness. I swear whoever told the World that needs to die.

You have to hardwire all the transmission switches anyway, use the auto wiring for the reverse then run the neutral and 5th gear switches if so required to the ECU. Get the idea out of your head that it will just plug in, your chassis is an auto so the wiring you're hoping to find doesn't exist.
