so im putting new brake pads and rotors and did the 5 lug conversion on my 98 240sx, now im trying to compress teh piston in order to put the caliper back on the rotor.. but its not compressing... the little brake fluid valve is open (like i've done in many other cars) and im using a c-clamp to compress the piston.. but no luck.. no emergency brake and its in neutral.

any help please.. im new to the 240sx.

thanks

You have to turn the piston. There are specialty tools that will do it or a needle nose pliers will do the trick and turn it clockwise. Dont rip the boot :)
