Not all SEs had them period. It was an option.

I thought all 5 lug s14s had a vlsd, so all se's basically?

VLSD's are getting outdated, save the trouble of swaping out the diffs twice and get an 2 way, or at least an HLSD.
VLSD wear out in time, and you'll end up swaping it out again.

YOU SEARCH... Just kidding lol. Do a burnout and see if it leaves two lines, jack up the rear and spin one tire if the other tire is spinning the same way its LSD. Easiest ways

Quit reading nonsense and research. VLSD was an option on base and SEs. An option. How in hell does that transfer to all?

Maybe most people got the vlsd as a cheap option or most dealers put them on cars or something.....?

No. Fuck where do people come up with these stupid thoughts? The OE VLSD was offered as an option with ABS, you'd have to have both and I don't see any dealer anywhere just deciding to add ABS to a car on the lot to try and sell it. Buying the parts alone would cost more than $5k new.

NOT all SE had VLSD or moonroof.
Simple way to check if the pumpkin is VLSD.
Turn the output shafts, see if the other side turns in the opposite direction, it's VLSD.
If you turn one and it spins freely and the other side is stationary, then it is open.
Gear ratio check:
The gear ratio should be about 4:1. For every one turn of drive shaft, the out put turns 4 revolutions.

ABS was optional as well and wasn't a packaged deal. S14s could come with a VLSD and ABS, VLSD and no ABS, no VLSD and ABS, and no VLSD and no ABS.

No. In Canada VLSD and ABS were separate options, but not in the US.
