For Sale: 1993 240sx SE Coupe
Asking: $1,400 obo, open to all reasonable offers.
Moving at the end of the month and cash talks. Clean title in hand.
The car is in Orlando by UCF
Mileage: 169,393 miles
The car is pretty much stock, only modifications are:
Aftermarket alarm with keyless entry, windows and sunroof are set to roll up when the alarm is armed.
Pilot Motorsports short throw shifter. It’s a two piece model that has been JB Welded so there’s no free spinning action.
Altima fans. Two relays, lows come on with ignition “ON” and highs come on with the A/C circuit.
Hella E-Code H4 housings with Hella bulbs. I have a spare set of brand new bulb as well as the sealed beams that will come with the car.
Drivetrain:
KA24DE (seized, upper radiator hose blew driving down I-4).
The car will need to be towed since it doesn’t move under its own power.
5-speed transmission, shifts smooth, plenty of life in the clutch. Master and Slave both in good shape too.
Stock open diff.
Original airbox and exhaust, the cat is gutted.
Brakes:
Stock brakes all around, M/C is only a few months old.
Exterior:
Decent shape, a fresh coat of paint and it’ll look great again. The previous owner had a $500 Maaco job done before I bought it in 2003.
A couple blemishes you can see in the pictures on the passenger’s front corner. My fiancée’s former roommate backed out of the driveway a little too sharply.
Stock SE 7-spokes, Tires are in good shape with lots of tread left.
Interior:
Full stock interior. Condition-wise is what you’d expect from most S13s, driver’s side bolster is torn, the dash is cracked, and the vinyl on the driver’s door panel needs some glue. Leather boots from redlinegoods.com on the shifter and brake.
All electronics work perfectly, HUD did die in Jan of 2006, but was promptly repaired and has been solid ever since.
A/C blows ice cold.
Sunroof does not leak.
Misc:
Original spare is in the trunk, but the tire is shredded. I had a blowout and the 14 year old spare had a bit of dry rot. Original tools are included as well as a second set if you want.
There is a small switch above the jack door that cuts power to the antenna motor. The antenna still works perfectly. The previous owner had the car wired for a system and I never got around to pulling the interior up to take the wires out.
I also have a more or less brand new dash, no cracks, and looks great. It has all the vents and hardware, HUD, cluster, and harness. The HUD worked when I last tested it a few months ago.
I’m getting married and moving at the end of the month and really need the car gone quickly and don’t have the time to part it out. I will separate the spare dash and cluster from the car, but need to sell the car as a whole. I love the car and hate to have to sell it, but I really need the money and don’t have the time or space for a project right now. A rebuild or new block or swap and you’ll have a great car.
Again I would like $1,400, but make me an offer. I need the car gone.
