Does anyone on here (besides me) race in idrc or in any competitive drag racing events, or does anyone see there main focus as drag racing. I agree it gets boring at times, just curious. Id like to se if there are any other fast 240s.

I don't compete competitively (yet), but I do drag race at strips.

yes i do, if you are from cali, you'd hear about CMI in Sactown. Cali Modified Imports is wat CMI stands for. it is bracket racing, where you dial in a time and try and stay consistant.

I have twice, it's pretty fun and cheap. I use it mostly as an opurtunity to drive my car all out since it is entirely too fast for the street. Also, it give consistant times, so I can compare run to run and adjustments. I don't plan on building a drag car, but my car should be able to hold it's own most places around here. That is except against my friends 400+rwhp MKIII supra. He is always the fastest car there, except the crazy mustangs.

Well.. if all goes correctly, I will have a 5-speed when my engine gets back. Also.. I was running stock injectors, but now I have 50# injectors.

good stuff. im building one sr in my garage right now. Funds are kind of dry just been lazy at work, but im getting the fuel system converted to top feed with a custom fuel rail and 55lb/hr injectors with a custom ecu upgrade. Im also going to be using an aeromotive fpr. with the t3/t25 that is on the car right now. Im just using stock 370ccs until i get the fuel stuff at the begining of feb. Top feed should be fun. I already use the 255 lt/hr walbro high pressure fp. My other sr is on a stand. I already have the other head for it port and polished with a 3 angle valve job and toda valve springs. Once the fuel system is paid for ill be looking to buy some arias pistons and eagle rods.

IIRC the sr comes with a 3 angle job from the factory.
