good choice sir. I've had my car Flat Black for almost 4 years now and I love it.

Fuck the haters, and trust me you'll get alot.

just buy some rims, get them powdercoated. Most companies make dark grey and gloss black, and thats usually as dark as they go.

Haters... Really? Why?
I like those rims. Do you have those? or do you just have flat black body.

Holy shit that looks nice, but I've got an S13. Know how that would look?

Also, I see your signature, and your 'wheel fitment' I think they call it... So don't bash me for this question because I'm still learning but...

Why is your wheel all up in the wheel well, and for city driving (and even tracking / drifting) isn't that really bad for tires if they're hitting the top of the well?

it only rubs on harrrrrd turns/ slammin thru the gears or insane bumps. only thing that really makes contact is my front lip and downpipe.

and my stances are set to the "softest" setting. so i'm gona turn them to full hard soon and see if that does a thing.

i think flat black would look sick.

Your front lip & downpipe? So your front coils are lower than the back?
I'm sure they'd b pretty sick half-way (17-24). They're 32-way right?

I have NO idea what that means, like I said I'm a fuckin nub. Explain?

Dont rattle can it, get it professionally sprayed. Rattle can will look blotchy no matter what. Plus it fades after 5-6 months with out some kind of clear on it.

Antihero983
10-07-2008, 05:49 PM
^wtf are you talking about?

I spray bombed my car, and 1. it certaintly was not blotchy and still isnt, and 2.it takes alot longer for it to fade than that.

prep it right and use good paint with alot of coats. i did at least 5 coats on mine.

Do the flat rustoleum paint, then satin clear over it. I'm referring to the car, in this case, not the wheels.

The wheels I would have professionally done.

May seem kinda backwards to say, 'rattle can your car, but have your wheels done professionally' but that's what I would do.

I rattle canned a fender and door on my old hatch flat black and it came out very very good. Looked like I had it done. But I have experience with spray painting back in my hip hop days if you know what I mean.

Yea I completely understand the order or whatever, the wheels I get will PROBABLY be flat black already, I just want to know how many layers of rustoleum paint I apply on the car and then how many layers of satin.
