My buddy has some hks coilovers off of his s15 he's selling. would they fit on s14? i'm thinking no? appreciate the help guys.

Direct fit. Spring rates are usually higher on S15 parts but that's it.

your best bet is to probably put up a price since we have no idea who your buddy is.

I think 1,000 is kind of high for used coilovers. A bit more you could get some stances new or kts (what i'm running, I'd vouch for them)

Yah but quality on HKS units are better than most sub $1600 sets. I would do it depending on how old/mileage on the coilover. If its not leaking, not that old and not abused, i think that would be a good price. Hell, even by Upgarage standard, $1000 is a still a good price.

I bought a set of Aragosta for $1200, its also off an S15. Installed it on my s14, been rolling on it for over a year and have no regrets so far.

Only difference is that the brackets that hold the brake lines are in a slightly different position. From 14 to 15

i know they were used (track) not sure for how long. they seem in good condition. no leaks. they have a red spring though? i thought they only come in black?

What kind of HKS coilover,,,,?

OLD SCHOOL HKS Coilover (Pre '96) (Dunno What color but i've find them in Red/gold)
Hipermax I (purple and black).
Hipermax II (purple and black).
Hipermax III (purple and black).
Hipermax Preformer (gold and black).

Also if they Are "Track Coilover" check spring rating And Check if you can Swap springes....Why?

B/C Hipermax Preformer Come With 7k F/5K R...And NO you can't replace/Swap Springes with higher ones...(I have them on my S14)
