I have been searching and been seeing a lot of notes of having to solder and rewire your SR harness. Is this tru? or just for cut lines? B/c if it is I was wondering where I can get a diagram so I can possibly make a plug and play system adaptor for the harness once i get my swap. Thanks alot

Check out www.heavythrottle.com , they have a diagram listed there that explains what needs to be connected to what... Also, it is possible to swimply disassemble the wiring connections and change the pin-outs. That's a better method that cutting and splicing.

is it a hard task to rewire it yourself? ive seen diagrams and stuff and it doesnt look too complicated, but ive heard a lot of people who've had many problems arise..

It's not that bad.. do some research, figure out what the wires are for on each end of the harnesses you want to connect.. take your time, re-pin each connector that is supposed to connect, or if you're not that maticulous, take your time and splice them together.. just remember.. take your time and be patient, it's not that bad if you do..

solider all splices or some where down the road you WILL have electrical problem from loose but-connectors...
