just wondering...
since i have removed my carpet, if anything scratches the paint off inside, while those areas rust or oxidize? my stupid seat wont bolt down correctly so it keeps moving around. the hole is stripped...any suggestions on fixing that?
thanks for any help

any metal will be made to oxidize easier when paint (or any protective coating) is removed from it. metal seat brackets rubbing on metal floor will remove paint.
most seat rail mounting points are simply a nut welded into the floor of the car.
EASIEST fix if you stripped one out. drill/file the threads away. get a longer bolt and thread it to a nut underneath the car.

yea, everywhere no joke. Make sure you get the stuff with the phosphoric acid composure, it actually converts rust on contact.
