I was at the dyno yesterday and my 2 year old Greddy RS BOV took a dump on me (opened under high boost) - Went and bought a TIAL Sport BOV with the 9psi Spring. Installed it on the hotpipe. Revved the car a bit and the bov opens at idle and kinda just flutters and kills the car.. Also doesnt open when it needs to causing crazy surge
Any help, pictures, diagrams, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Greddy VSPL FMIC
Greddy intake manifold
I am running a line AFTER the throttle body to the BOV - the only thing T'd off that is my DEFI boost Gauge
What size VAC hose I.D. Should I be using? 1/8th?
Thanks

LoL thats what i been doin... not by choice tho
Id like to get this working - any info anyone? Ive seen people on here saying that they run this BOV with a stock setup? HOW?! Cause it seems like this isnt for cars with MAFS if it has to stay open during idle

They have a guide for the spring needed for their BOV on their site man... did you even read it?
http://www.tialmedia.com/documents/w3_tial_bov50_sp.pdf
You probably need the 11psi spring, not the 9psi.

Yeah ive read it..
So what's the problem?
It explains exactly which spring you would need based on your engine.
If the 9psi spring is too soft, then you probably need the 11psi spring, seeing as most stock SRs see about 18-21 inHg of vacuum at idle anyway.

Let me know too...mine opens sometimes at idle too..but it doesn't bother me too too much, I just love how it sounds popping off 16 psi...haha

Did you read the chart that I posted?
Based on your engine's idle characteristics, you would need either the 9psi or 11psi spring.
Then make sure the BOV is getting a dedicated vacuum line straight off of the intake manifold.

First off thanks to SoSideways - U sir.. Were right - Thank You for your help
Update: Installed 11psi Spring (Unpainted) - Works Great - BOV response is on the money - compressor surge seems to be completely eliminated
