I have a 1993 S13 hatchback.

After the drifting event, my wipers and windshield washer are not working. The connector for the windshield washer reservoir (at the front passenger wheel mudflap, right?) fell off. So, I might need to replace it.

However, the first thing I want to do is to fix the wiper. I have the service manual, but I still don't know what to do.

I thought that the connectors for the wipers might be loose, so I checked the connectors. But they seem to be ok.

In the service manual, it mentions about Wiper Relay (Page. EL-63). So where is it?

Is it true that the washer motor is at the passenger side of the firewall? And is it true that the green box at the driver side near the firewall control the speed of the wipers?

I am very new to this. Can someone show me some pictures and how to diagnose this problem?

Thanks!

Green box is the wiper amplifier.

On Page. EL-63, the diagram shows the wiper amp has 7 legs. However, the green box in my car has 5 legs.

On Page. EL-63, where is "SMJ"?

I know this thread hasen't been posted in for about a week, but just in case check your fuses in your kick panel where your feet go. Theres a fuse I think its like a 20amp fuse (it has it on the label of the panel you take off). Make sure it's good and that the metal is touching.

Mine stopped working because the metal tabs stopped touching. Just bend them out a little bit opposite directions so they touch inside.
