Alright, with the SR soon on its way, i need to get new motor mounts for it. does anyone know what are the best types. I know there is a solid rubber or urathane type, and a hydraulic one also. Any recomendations, pros-cons of them. And lastly, where can you get some, other than the local auto parts store.

thanks gents, (and ladies)

call nissan motorsports/courtesy nissan. the mounts should be the same ones that are used for the KA, so you don't need to get em from anyplace foreign. i'm pretty sure nismo makes some mounts, but they might be a bit expensive. with upgraded mounts you'll feel more vibration, but shifts should be more precise. there are other pros and cons, but i dunno what they are.

I've heard stock KA mounts will be preloaded and eventually fail with an SR.

Nismo mounts would probably be a good idea.

I've heard Z32 300ZX mounts will work also...

The difference is how it mounts into the SR engine brackets...not the chassis. So you're cool to use SR mounts with your USDM S13 chassis.
