ok i am getting ready to do my swap in about a month. so im order all the parts i need. my question is what clutch to buy?????
my friends sentra sr has a act 6 puck with an extreme pressure plate. it grips great but the pedal force is crazy. any one know of a better set up???
thanks
pat
I got a ACT Stage 1 clutch kit ( street disk). It's smooth and can hold up to 362lb-ft. (more than enough in my case)

I've got the Spec Stage II great clutch holds well with a nice easy almost stock pedal feel. tq hold is on par with the ACT stage II

<-----another satisfied owner of the Spec Stage II. which is supposed to be able to hold 300ft/lbs of torque.

The spec stage 2 is an exact copy of the clutch masters stage 3. Spec star is a clutch masters knock off company based in England I believe.
Been in my car for a while. No problems at all.

i am pretty set on 6 puck. what i should have said is, whats a good pressure plate. on my friends extreme pressure plate, the resistance is so strong to push the clutch to the floor you are pinned to the seat trying to get the leverage to do it. he says it doesn’t matter but I think it would make it easier to miss a gear or grip the next. plus it isnt fun to daily drive. anyone have a good one of these to recommend?

the actual clutch is a rebuilt Nissan unit, check it, there's a nissan part number on there. the pressure plate is made by Luk, it's stamped on there as well.
