sohc to dohc HUD question

ok hello guys, i have a sohc 240sx im about to do a dohc swap and im wondering something about the HUD. the thing is that i might just get an analog cluster for dohc. will it just plug in or am i just better off getting another dohc HUD?

you cant "plug" the HUD directly into the analog cluster harness. BUT you can wire the 2 togather and have the HUD and the analog cluster togather, search its been covered

i know what you mean, and i saw that thread.
what i meant is if i can use it on my dohc swap...for example would a dohc HUD cluster plug into where the sohc cluster was..

You would need the dohc hud subharness in replace of the analog sohc subharness.

oh guess i didnt understand what you ment...in anycase yes you can plug the DOHC hud cluster into the SOHC hud harness they are the same plugs, analog and hud have different harness.

yes you will need the analog harness eithor Dohc or Sohc will work
