How's it going everyone. I own a '94 180sx here in Okinawa and have a '92 240sx in California.

I have a couple of questions about swapping over a Japanese HVAC setup from a 180sx over to a USDM 240sx.

I'm planning on doing a RHD swap and would like to keep the heater and A/C, adapting most everything over. I know i'll have to move the heater lines around and have some A/C lines fabbed.

I've looked at a few write ups about swapping in the Digital Climate Control from a 180sx over to the 240sx replacing it's manual slider setup. My question is, if I have the JDM blower motor, heater boxes, vents, etc, wouldn't all I really have to do is just splice the jdm HVAC harness for power and ground? Other than having to adapt a few sensor wires to the jdm hardware, it should work, right?

not necessarally if your using the USDM Harness you will still have to repin a few plugs, basically follow the write-ups online.

are you going to be using the entire JDM harness, as in the dash harness? or are you just flipping the USDM harness?

if you are taking the complete chassis harness out of the 180sx and plan on putting it in the 240 then the dcc will be plug n play, but if you are gonna modify the usdm harness for rhd you will have to repin a few plugs.

the dcc has a sub-harness that you can use for the usdm conversion, it doenst matter which blower motor, heater box etc you have what matters is the chassis harness
