if it doesn't come loose, just take the suspension off piece by piece... :D. That's what I did with one of my 5 junkyard mesh wheels. Had to take it with strut/spring/rotor/spindle/hub, etc, because of a wheel lock.
What do the wheels look like? Like these (mine)?

Are those off a 280z? Is the offset different? 4 or 5 lugs? They look sweet.

Yo, fellow Vortexer :D. They are 4x114.3, +0 offset. They were on a 280Z, but they are aftermarket wheels (most likely Enkei - we don't know, as they don't have the center caps, and are not stamped on the face of the wheel, like Riken or SSR wheels).

they look something like that except it has a smaller lip. I don't know what offset they are, but I'm going to try them on a junked 240 over there. The mesh part is more silver, but I'd like to paint them to be like yours. Everything is still shiny, but its just really dirty.

hahaha i like the idea of pulling on it and falling on my ass. what part of the wheel/tire should i hit with the rubber mallet? Will it hurt the wheel to pound the hell out of it?

how much do you guys usually pay for a junkyard wheel btw. it's a 15 inch with 205/60/R15. still some tread left.

Depends on which yard... anywhere from $10-30 a wheel. Depends on their pricing policy.

ok here are the wheels. they have no lip, but i like. they came off those old rwd 200sx's. it's a nissan wheel too. thanks james. i brought a rubber mallet with me. it came off easier than i expected. it was kinda fun actually.

Not bad at all. I, personally, love lip (my 2.5" is not enough damn it! :D), but if you like them, then nice score... What did you end up paying for them and how wide are they?
And 96SEChick: Thanks! :D

i really want a lip, but right now, anything beats my stock steels. I paid about $30 per wheel. The tires on them suck. You can see the 200sx had alignment problems. I only go to one junkyard and they never have 15 inch wheels with a big lip. They are always in 13s and 14s.
Those wheels are 15x6.5 i think. If that's what the stock wheel size is, then that's it. The tires were the exact same size as the stock ones. They are both 205/60/15.
Thanks 96SEChick. I'm still in the process of cleaning in between all those tiny crevices. Oh well, that's what I get for choosing a mesh wheel.
I'll take a picture soon with them on. Too bad I still have to roll on 2 stock steels. Thanks guys.

Ok, I went cruising around in them for a little bit and I took some pics at a gast station. I REALLY like these wheels. It kinda looks like stock alloy teardrop wheels, except way better. Only thing I wish is I had the front two :( .
Maybe some people don't dig my wheels, but it's a whole different story when you actually own the wheels and restore them to near factory condition. :p Maybe it's the hours of cleaning I put into them, but they are starting to grow on me:D .
