i already started pulling things out of my engine bay and getting ready for a swap. so far, i pulled out the air box, battery, radiator, fan shroud, fuel filter, ignition coil and power transister, canister near radiator,A.I.V, and unplugged most of the wires.

i have an 89 fastback. im thinking about pulling out the power steering canister. what else should i pull from the car? im leaving the windshield wiper motor in there, but there's another piece next to it that im clueless about.

If you want it to come out clean, go for it. I did a rush job :p

I don't know what engine you are swapping... I assume it is a SR. Depending on if you are running the factory intercooler or an aftermarket FMIC... you might want to test where the piping is going to go. With the stock SMIC you will need to grind out the hole where the old air silencer was. This should be done while the engine is out... lots of space makes this stuff seem easier. Granted an SR has a lot more room in there than my RB! Every thing else seems good... looks like you covered it all!
