My buddy and I were installing Jic Magic, and my buddy snapped a 17mm bolt goes rear lower strut. It's bit hard to describe, so here is a pic to give you guys better idea what I'm talking about..

The Bolt that goes through there just snapped, tried everywhere to find that bolt, but no luck yet. I called nissan like 20-30 times, but they are having difficult time finding that part number. I also tried shucks, autozone, homedepot, and etc.
Do you guys know where I can find that bolt? Anyone that has junked 96 240sx is laying around, or extra bolt that I can buy off from?
Please let me know... This is really stressing me out.
thanks,

I posted this not long ago but no one seems able to search anymore. Wait, they never could.
8mm head - M5x.8
10mm head - M6x1.0
12mm head - M8x1.25
14mm head - M10x1.25
17mm head - M12x1.25
19mm head - M14x1.25 (S14 front spindle bolts)
KA bellhousing bolts are M10x1.5
The EGR and AIV are M24x1.5
That's the typical sizes for 90% of the bolts on any Nissan.
I find this post from "bolt and nut" thread. So, the rear lower strut bolt is 12 by 1.25mm? if it is, where can I find this bolt? Like I mentioned on orginal post, I'm having difficult time finding it.
Please help me out....
thanks!!

I have a dozen of them I'm sure but I'd need to scour the parts bin. Someone parting a car must have one.
You can also grab it here: http://www.courtesyparts.com/betasite/kb_search_result.php?keywords=[55040A]+\(s14&cPath=3690_3691_3779_3783

They aren't found on S13s though, it's a nut threaded onto a stud on the early chassis.
OP- Also try J30s, they use the same bolt as the S14.

^^ I guess they are.
If you don't mind, can you find out the exact part number? My local dealer is having difficult time finding the part number. It has been over week and still no answer from them yet.

I think people are getting confused with s13 rear strut nut, and s14 rear strut bolt. S14 have bolts, not nuts.
I took some pictures of my buddy's ride. This should clear things up....
Please let me know what I REALLY need.

This is what you're looking for: 431 Rear Suspension :: Axle & Suspension :: Genuine Nissan Parts :: 240SX (S14) 1995-1998 :: CourtesyParts.com (http://www.courtesyparts.com/betasite/240sx-s14-1995-1998/genuine-nissan-parts/axle-suspension/431-rear-suspension/-c-3690_3691_3779_3783.html)
The part number for the bolt is 55040A, you can order it right on that site for about $2 each.
